Wrinkle &
Age Spot Treatment

Wrinkles and age spots are the two most visible signs of skin ageing.

Overview

Understanding Wrinkle & Age Spot Treatment

Wrinkles and age spots are the two most visible signs of skin ageing. While one is shaped by muscle movement and collagen loss, the other by cumulative sun exposure. Both are treatable. Modern dermatology offers targeted solutions for each, and at Zars, we match the treatment to the concern rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

Who It May Suit

01

Expression lines - forehead, crow's feet, frown lines

02

Deeper folds, volume loss, or sagging along the jawline

03

Flat dark spots on the face, hands, or décolletage from sun damage

04

Uneven skin tone with a mix of pigmentation and textural ageing

05

Those who've tried topicals with limited results and want something more targeted

A consultation and dermoscopic evaluation is done before any treatment to assess the nature of spots and confirm suitability.

OUR APPROACH

How It's Approached at Zars

We address both concerns through a layered, personalised plan:

For Wrinkles

Botox

relaxes muscles driving dynamic lines

Dermal Fillers

restores volume and softens deeper folds

Skin Boosters / Profhilo

improves skin quality and fine lines from within

RF Microneedling

collagen induction for texture and mild laxity

HIFU

non-invasive lifting and tightening for deeper laxity

For Age Spots

Picosecond Laser (Pico Flash+)

targets melanin precisely; safe for Indian skin tones

Chemical Peels

resurfaces and fades pigmentation progressively

Topical Depigmenting Agents

retinoids, kojic acid, azelaic acid, niacinamide; used alongside procedures for maintenance

WHAT TO EXPECT

Your Treatment Journey

BEFORE

Avoid sun exposure, tanning, and retinoids 5-7 days prior to laser or peel sessions. For injectables, avoid blood thinners and alcohol 24-48 hours before.

DURING

Sessions range from 20 minutes (Botox, laser) to 60–90 minutes (combination treatments). Topical anaesthetic is applied where needed. Discomfort is minimal across all procedures.

AFTER

Most treatments need little to no downtime. Mild redness, swelling, or initial darkening of spots (pre-flaking) is normal and temporary. SPF 50+ daily is non-negotiable throughout any treatment course.

RESULTS

What You Can Achieve

Results compound with consistency. A combination approach, targeting muscle activity, volume, and pigmentation together delivers the most natural and lasting outcome.

FAQS

Common Questions
When should I start anti-ageing treatments?
There's no fixed age. The right time is when you notice changes that bother you. Many start in their late 20s to early 30s with preventative Botox or skin boosters, while others begin later to address established concerns.
Often, yes and that's intentional. Different treatments work at different levels: Botox addresses muscle-driven lines Fillers restore volume and contour RF Microneedling (MNRF) stimulates collagen and improves skin texture and laxity HIFU delivers non-invasive lifting and tightening at deeper tissue levels Lasers and peels improve skin quality and pigmentation A combination approach delivers the most natural, complete result
When done well, absolutely. The aim at Zars is never an overdone appearance. It's to help you look like a refreshed, rested version of yourself. Subtle, personalised treatment is always the goal.
