Hair Reduction
Laser Hair Reduction is a safe and effective method to reduce unwanted hair growth over time.
Overview
Understanding Laser Hair Reduction
It works by targeting the pigment in the hair root, gradually leading to thinner, lighter, and slower-growing hair.
It is important to understand that this is hair reduction, not complete removal—the goal is long-term reduction in hair density and thickness, not permanent elimination.

How it’s approached at ZARS
We follow a customized treatment protocol based on your skin type, hair thickness, and area:
01
Laser targets hair in the active growth phase (anagen)
02
Since hair grows in cycles, multiple sessions are required
03
Parameters are carefully selected to ensure safety in Indian skin, minimizing risk of burns or pigmentation
04
Built-in cooling makes the procedure comfortable and skin-safe
BEFORE
Avoid waxing/threading for 3–4 weeks (shaving is allowed), Area should be clean-shaven before the session, Avoid sun exposure or tanning
DURING
Session duration: 15–60 minutes depending on area, Sensation: mild warmth or snapping feeling, Cooling ensures better comfort
AFTER
Mild redness or slight swelling for a few hours, You can resume normal activities immediately, Hair may appear to “grow” after a few days—this is actually shedding of treated hair, Sun protection is essential.
